Xilica Audio Design is pleased to announce the DLP-4080HD, a super high performance 4 input - 8 output digital loudspeaker management system designed for the touring or fixed sound installation markets. The absolute latest in available technology is utilized with 64-bit fixed point DSP processing and highest quality 24-bit Analog Converters available. The 64-bit DSP processing prevents noise and distortion induced by truncation errors of the commonly used devices. FIR (Finite Impulse Response) crossover filters were also implemented in the system. FIR gives a linear phase response at the crossover frequency which is much preferred over IIR (Infinite Impulse Response) filters. The DLP-4080HD was designed to provide the top of the best sounding quality devices for the professional audio world. The DLP-4080HD preserves all the functions that exist in the DLP-4080. The DLP-4080HD can be controlled or configured in real time on the front panel or with the intuitive PC GUI accessed via the RS-232 interface. Software upgrade for CPU and DSP via PC keeps the device current with newly developed algorithms and functions.
